I have to return my car. How does this work?

At the end of the lease contract, you are responsible for returning the car to a location of the leasing company or the dealer. This also applies to temporary or rental vehicles. Depending on the reason for returning, fleetkennis will inform you about the return process. In general, the return process is as follows:
  1. Schedule a appointment via the website or app of your leasing company.
  2. When returning the lease car; make sure the car is clean and fully refueled before arriving at the return location;
  3. When returning the lease car, a representative of the leasing company (or someone acting on their behalf) will complete a return form together with you. Filling out and signing this return form is mandatory, to ensure you are not held responsible later for any external damages that were not reported at the time of return.
Important: Any costs incurred due to returning the vehicle later than the agreed time with the leasing company or your employer (regardless of the reason) will be fully at the employee’s expense.
