You have not received a fine (yet)?

In the case of a traffic fine, the fine must be received within a statutory period of 4 months after the violation occurred. In practice, it appears that a traffic fine is often received within 4 to 6 weeks. Approximately the same standards apply to parking fines. If you are unsure whether you have been fined and have not (yet) received the fine, you can contact the leasing company to check whether an offence has actually been registered and when it was sent to the employer for payment.
