Why are administrative fees applied to my deduction?
The administration costs charged to you are the processing costs of the leasing company or other parties involved. These are extra administrative costs in addition to the legally determined administrative costs for a fine. These additional administrative costs will be charged if intermediaries are involved in the settlement and/or payment of the fine. Fines from the Central Judicial Collection Agency (CJIB) are charged directly to the driver, for which only the legally determined administration costs are charged. Additional administrative costs for a CJIB fine apply if the fine is increased or if the fine was issued for driving a rental car. Municipal and foreign fines are charged via the leasing company. For this reason additional administration costs are charged to the driver.
